An Evening for Börje is a tribute and fundraising gala to benefit ALS research. It is an evening entirely in the spirit of Börje with both joy and seriousness. Here you can watch films from An Evening for Börje 2025.
A warm welcome to An Evening for Börje 2026
Niklas Jihde and Markus Samuelsson will host the evening together with Karin Karlström and Micael Bydén. The evening begins with a tribute song to Börje performed by Jon Henrik Fjällgren and Magnus Carlson. Maria Westman from AIK will talk about Experience Day, which was organized together with the foundation.

Nicklas Lidström, board member of the Börje Salming ALS Foundation, will be invited by Mikael Samuelsson to take part in the Mariefred Winter Classic. And then comes the eternal question, who should be captain of Tre Kronor Legends? Mats “Sudden” Sundin and Niklas “Lidas” Lidström will be challenged by Mikael Samuelsson.
Caroline Ingre on the latest ALS research and Markus Krunegård performs Stjärnfallet
Caroline Ingre will share the latest breakthroughs in ALS research, and an auction of a JMV jersey will be held in support of the next steps in her research. Therese Lundgren will speak about life after her husband, Janne Lundgren, was diagnosed with ALS, and Markus Krunegård will perform Stjärnfallet as a tribute to the friends we have lost.
Domarhjärtat, a new initiative from the foundation, and several supporting activities
Domarhjärtat, a new initiative from the foundation, will be presented by Nicklas Lidström together with Ulf Rådbjer and Jesper Vendel. In addition, Odd Fellow Kiruna, Tylösand Golf, Tilva Smycken, and En match för Livet will present donations to the foundation.
HockeyAllsvenskan, Brynäs, Elite Prospects, Volkswagen, and SN Fordonsinredning support the foundation
Erik Ryman from HockeyAllsvenskan and Jakob Westerlund from Brynäs will speak about how the leagues support the foundation, as well as new partnerships with Elite Prospects, Volkswagen, and SN Fordonsinredning, along with the auction of the Olympic jersey.
Västanhede, a new partner of the foundation, and several supporting initiatives
A presentation on how Västanhede will work as a partner to the foundation, along with initiatives carried out by, among others, Christian Bauer and Magnus Risberg.
The Börje Act of the Year award goes to August Årjes, whose initiative En match för livet contributes to ALS research.
The Börje Act of the Year award is presented to August Årjes for his work with En match för livet, supporting the foundation’s contribution to ALS research. Pia Salming, together with Stephane Dehner, will present a Breitling watch, and Micael Bydén will read the jury’s motivation.
