Biography

Börje Salming, born on April 17, 1951 in Kiruna, is one of Sweden's most prominent ice hockey players of all time. He is considered a pioneer in Swedish ice hockey and is considered one of the first European players to break into and make an impact in the North American National Hockey League (NHL).
